What’s a Beta Builder?
The Beta Builder program teaches students from City of Pittsburgh Schools how to code and write software. It is organized by Academy Pittsburgh, the City’s only web developer boot camp for adults. The Beta Builders program is taught by young software engineers and local certified teachers. Each session runs three hours a week through August 2017. Transportation assistance is available and light snacks will be provided. The learning is hands on, team-based, and organized around building real websites and software applications. Sessions are held in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh at Academy Pittsburgh.
Sessions have already begun, but we are still accepting applications.
Recap sessions are available for late joiners!
